抄録

The Kosen female student branding project was conducted by a collaborative group of nine national colleges oftechnology from all over Japan. About 200 female students and 80 teachers cooperated in the project. The aim of thisproject was to advertise the high skills and ability of female students in colleges of technology to companies and juniorhigh school students and their parents. To achieve this aim, a databook on girls of national colleges of technology waspublished and colleges of technology female student forums were held three times in Tokyo and Osaka. Science events forelementary and junior high school girl students were also held at each college. Not only branding, but also careereducation for female students participating in the project is considered important factor. Female students feel theircompetencies in initiative and ability to deliver messages have increased through their participation in the project.
