Abstract

Recently, there are many indoor open spaces with nature such as waterfalls and vegetations in a building for relaxing people. In that case, a lot of energy is needed to control air conditioning for keeping the thermal and air environment comfortable. So, the system which controls AC system in limited area for staying people is needed there. We are going to make the system by using the water surface in indoor open spaces. We used some numerical simulation methods. This paper reports the property of air velocity on boundary area between water layer and air layer by using PIV method.
