In Japan, with a terribly hot and humid climate in summer, the dehumidification is one of the important factors in maintaining thermally comfortable environment. Therefore, a desiccant air conditioner may be a very effective means for thermal comfort. "Sakai Gas Building" has a desiccant air conditioner utilizing the waste heat and we've taken measurement about the fresh air preconditioning system including the desiccant air conditioner. In this paper, we report the measurement results, and also evaluate the energy saving effects of several fresh air preconditioning systems quantitatively.
