Abstract

This paper discusses a desirable way of producing audio-visual documentation of traditional performing arts and archiving them. Audio-visual documentation could serve as a source of learning of physical movements, rhythm and music of performing arts. Besides, it could also provoke discussion between stakeholders and stimulate the motivation to learn. For the sake of transmission of traditional performing arts, we need to build archives which could be easily utilized by practitioners of traditional performing arts.
