Abstract

In this report, BEREC as an organization that is to facilitate EU institutions and EU telecom sector to make better telecom policy in the EU telecommunication market is introduced with its significance of existence, organizational structure and its impact of the reports on EU telecommunication market. There exist rules of procedure of the board of regulators of BEREC which is separately set from the Regulation EC 1211/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council of 25 November 2009 establishing the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the Office, and its situation of revision is also introduced. In the end, this paper will look at the budgetary situation of BEREC, its position in the EU telecom policy and its relation to the European Commission.
