ホームネットワークや宅内環境制御に関する研究を進めるにあたり、著者らはテスト環境におけるホームアプライアンスの通信プロトコルとしてECHONET Liteを利用している。ECHONET Liteが制定された2011年には、ECHONET Liteに対応したライブラリが存在しなかったため、著者らは新規に複数のECHONET Liteライブラリの開発を行った。本稿では、開発したライブラリの特徴や、ライブラリを利用して開発されたアプリケーション及びその利用方法について紹介を行う。本ライブラリは利便性を考慮し開発されており、デバイスの試作やコントローラアプリケーションの開発期間を減らすことが可能となった。
In order to pursue our research interests in home networking and home environmental control, we favored the use of the ECHONET Lite protocol as the communication protocol for home appliances in a test environment. Due to the lack of any libraries at the time, a set of libraries was developed for rapid prototyping and control of ECHONET Lite devices. In this poster we explain their characteristics as well as show the kinds of applications and scenarios they were used in. The libraries are easy to use and can shorten development time when prototyping devices and developing controller type applications.
