抄録

Delamination behavior of hydroxyapatite(HAp) coating was observed in order to reveal whether wear particles promote delamination growth. In this research, cyclic and static fatigue tests were carried out. The result indicated that, for cyclic fatigue test, the delamination behavior of HAp coating was promoted. Furthermore, cyclic compressive shear loading promoted wear for HAp coating. From microscopic observation at nearby the crack tip of delamination, the wear was occurred and wear particle entered to the crack faces. Abrasive wear and rolling wear of wear particles could promote delamination growth.
