- S022022 Evaluation of Mechanical Stimuli Patterns on the Pulsatile Culture of Tissue Engineered Vascular Grafts
抄録
In these days, the number of the case of vascular disease is increasing. To overcome these cases, tissue engineered blood vessels(TEBV) are regarded as a superior method to artificial or transplanted graft, which are short of antithrombogenicity and biocompatibility. In tissue engineering, developing tissues by cell culture, dynamic culture accompanied medium circulation and mechanical stimuli loading are beneficial to tissue maturation. Thus, various bioreactors are developed, and proved that loading pulsatile mechanical stimuli as pressure, shear stress and strain will encourage the tissue maturation in mechanical strength and differentiation of multi potential cells. In this study,we developed the new bioreactor to control the pulsatile mechanical stimuli to investigate the effect on TEBV growth. The system was operated and pulsatile pressure and shear stress were measured. The stimuli patterns were manipulated arbitrarily. Our bioreactor provided the new experimental system that can investigate the effect by various mechanical stimuli patterns on TEBV growth.
