抄録

Friction, cutting force and adhesion can be decreased with micro texture on tool rake face. To develop an optimal cutting tool with micro structure on rake face, dominant parameters to cutting force should be determined, and cutting phenomenon between workpiece and tool rake face should be also investigated. In this paper, the factors to dominate the cutting force are determined, and a cutting tool to realize high machinability is proposed and developed.
