抄録
We have studied the active bone-conducted sound sensing, which can estimate joint angle with a microphone and a vibration actuator. The system emits a vibration to a bone, and the joint angle can be measured using variance of vibration amplitude that the microphone receives. In this paper, we propose the haptic-enabled active bone-conducted sound sensing by combining perceptible vibration. The method can estimate joint angle and stimulate tactile receptor simultaneously without changing system configuration. One of the applications of our method is remote control for robots, and we confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the method through experiments.
