抄録

It was said in Suiin Emi's reminiscence that Koyo Ozaki used American woman writer's short story as the material for his Konjiki Yasha. Compared with Alice King Hamilton's original "White Lilies" (Captain Dreams and Other Stories ed. Captain Charles King, 1895), there are many similarities as plots, lilies as symbols, scenes of a ball and a card party. Some differences are caused by absorption of other Western stories
