Perioperative oral and dental management broadly consist of four major categories, such as preoperative oral check and removal of infectious sauce, pre- and post-operative oral care, treatments of several oral complications and palliative oral care. This review expounds the way of oral and dental management on the basis of the oral management manual, the "National Text" published by the Japan National Cancer Center.
