Abstract

学校教育の現場においてその責務とされる活動の範囲は拡大しつづけており,カリキュラム外教育がおおきな部分をしめるようになってきている.学校化社会として概念化されているこうした状況の是非とはべつに,そうした状況にいかに学校と教員が対応するかの検討が本稿の課題である.カリキュラム外教育のかなりの部分,教員が職務として学生に対してとる支援行動は,ケア労働としてとらえることができる.教員のバーンアウトなどを原因とする学生支援自体の破綻をさけ,ケア労働を有効に機能させるためには,教員が学校内において学生に対してしめる評価権力保持者としての位置の逆機能に注目し,教員をケア労働の外側におき,非教員スタッフによる支援体制を構築することが不可欠である.

Education at schools during recent years has a strong tendency toward extending its line of duty from academic training far to caring for students' whole life outside the regular curriculum or program of courses, as well as employment assistance. It has been many years since the circumstances of the school-centred society were conceptualized. The author seeks a solution to the matter, how schools could and should settle the problem, showing a case example in progress, in which he is involved. It has been observed that of primary importance is excluding teaching staff from caring for students with various everyday life problems, that is the case in particular as for students with special needs. The use of power through evaluation of learning results makes teaching staff inappropriately situated to care for students in the widened duty area. In conclusion the importance to provide non teaching staff sufficiently and have teachers stay abstinently inside the field of institutionalized curriculum is shown.
