抄録

In order to visualize a fatigue crack inside a friction stir welded plate, micro computed tomography was carried out using Industrial X-ray CT. The contrast of reconstructed slice image has been improved as a result of using the specimen holder for making a tabular specimen into pillar specimen. And the surface fatigue crack shape and its size were well in agreement with the observation by an optical microscope.
