- G040031 Joining Mechanism of Ag-coated Glass/A1 Joint boded by Ultrasonic Bonding
抄録
Development of the bonding of A1 and various glasses has become essential to assemble solar panel devices. In this report, an ultrasonic bonding was applied to the joining between an A1 ribbon and an Ag-coated glass substrate and the microstructure of the interface was investigated by several observation techniques. Flat non-reacted area and mountainous reacted area were observed at the interface. At the reacted area, Ag_2Al formed as a reaction product and grew to the Al. Around the non-reacted area, Si or contamination existed on the Ag layer. Grain size of the A1 ribbon was decreased from several hundreds μm to several μm during the welding. Most of grain boundaries of the bonded Al were small angle grain boundaries.
