抄録

This Study shows three points on how a child had influenced by the culture and knowlege in his childhood. This child had studied in the Meiji era. His name was Itoh Risaburoh, he was the son of Itoh Rinichiroh and his wife. Rinichiroh was a leader of Yamamura, Asake, Mie. Risaburoh had studied‘Kohjyohdoh' in many villages over Asake. Many Students over eight years old learned reading, writing and arithmetic. Four teachers had taught them. One of teachers was Niwa Shyuuji. Niwa had founded Ohyachi Primary School. I think Risaburoh had studied at this school.The school contents were a Jyugaku textbook and Syuuji textbook and on abacus. Next, Risaburoh had entered into Oyachi Primary School. This school model was the First Yokkaichi Primary School. The contents were reading, writing and arithmetic. He performed excellent in this school. He advantaged over a few grades. He learned much about Jyugaku, and writing and about‘Ouraimono' and he also learned geography, history and mathmatics. He learned more western scientific material snd some japanese history. He received a higher level of knowlege in this shcool. After this school, Risaburoh had became a teacher.
