Abstract

The hydrological cycle in forests is affected by not only forest types but also climate. Therefore, comparison of hydrological cycles among different forested experimental watersheds is effective for evaluating the effect of forest properties on the hydrological cycle. For this comparison, hydrological data for many watersheds should be opened to the public. However, most of hydrological data have not been opened to the public yet in Japan. This report presents a daily hydrological data for the Ochozu Experimental Watershed located in Kasuya Research Forest. This watershed is covered with an unmanaged plantation forest. This is the one and only dataset for unmanaged plantation forests in Japan.
