金融危機を引き金とした劇的な環境変化によって，日本企業は事業の選択と集中をより一層強化する戦略を構築するとともに，人材，ITを高度に活用するための組織能力強化が求められている。 　このような問題意識の下に，筆者たちは，平成19年度，平成20年度の科学研究費補助金による「組織能力の再構築による復活戦略」研究の一環として，日本の上場企業を対象とした組織能力に関するアンケート調査を実施した。情報の収集・分析，情報の伝達・共有，情報の活用，組織・人的資源の活用に関する組織能力，これらの組織能力を構築する契機となった組織内外の諸要因，および，組織能力のコンテキストとなっている情報化，国際化に対する制度的取り組みの現状を理解し，組織能力を明確化することが目的である。本資料は，アンケート調査の集計結果を取りまとめたものであるが，日本企業の強みとする組織能力と，相対的に弱い組織能力を明確化できた。 Based on the dramatic environmental change, Japanese firms have to strengthen the selection and concentration of their businesses and build their organizational capabilities to promote their human resources and Information Technology. We executed the questionnaire survey concerning the organizational capability towards Japanese listed companies under the research fund titled “Revival strategy by the restructuring of the organizational capabilities”. The questionnaire are made of several aspects of capability, which are Information gathering and analysis, information transmission and sharing and utilities of organizational resources and human resources. This material explains these total results. Results show the competitive aspects and weak aspects of the Japanese firm’s organizational capabilities.
