抄録

A case of inverted papilloma was reported. A 53-year-old man was admitted to our clinic with complaints of hematuria and colicky pain in the right flank. Cystoscopy revealed a sessile, small finger-tip sized tumor with smooth surface near the orifice of the right ureter. Histological examination showed that the tumor had an inverted epithelial structure covered by normal transitional epithelium. Nineteen cases reported in Japanese literatures were reviewed in regards to age, sex, symptoms, site of tumor, histopathology and treatment.
