Abstract
Microtremor measurements were carried out in six school buildings in order to obtain dynamic characteristics of mid-to-high-rise buildings in Fukui City. As a result, the natural frequencies, the natural modes and the relationship between natural frequency of soil-structure-interaction system f and natural frequency of upper structure system f0 of these buildings were obtained. The relationship between building height H and primary order natural period T was approximately T=0.016H.
