筆者は既に，領域行政や領域へのポデスタ派遣のシステム等の検討を通じて，フィレンツェ共和国の領域支配の意識と実態の解明を試みてきた。そうした観点をさらに進め，本稿では，1409年の都市条例案の内容を領域支配意識という側面から検討してみよう。最終的に施行されなかったこの条例案は，有名な1415年条例の陰にあって，従来の研究では関心を払われてこなかったが,タンツィーニの研究によって改めてその意義に目が向けられた。本来，多面的な分析の必要な史料であり，本稿で行なうのはその分析の一部に過ぎないが，フィレンツェ共和国の領域支配の在り方を探る手がかりの一つとし，中世末から近世初頭の領域国家をめぐる考察に資するものとしたい。

In the fifteenth century Florentine rule was spread over the northern part of Tuscany. Their territorial rule consciousness deserves to be investigated, as an example of the late medieval territorial city-state in Italy. In this research we examine the Statutes elaborated in 1409, in order to find out the Florentine consciousness of ruling their territory.
