抄録

Since 2005, Osaka University's distance learning (D-Learning) series broadcast from the San Francisco Center has continued to engage Japanese students by bringing in Bay Area experts from a variety of fields to share their experiences. Students have a rare opportunity to hear first-hand accounts about how to set up venture companies, conduct collaborative research, and broker deals with multinational corporations Since 2006, the new series has been held entirely in English and in an American university environment. Students are able to directly ask questions to speakers in San Francisco via the videoconference system.
