Abstract

研究報告

The Todohokke dialect is spoken in the eastern region of Oshima Peninsula in the Southern Hokkaido. The project team has worked on collecting its words and stories told by several native informants living in Todohokke, which belongs to Hakodate now, since the first field trip in 2000. This paper reveals some interesting linguistic facts, concentrating on about 40 words unique to the dialect in terms of their forms, meanings, contextual implications and ways of using.
