これまで、HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) 方式により、ディジタル動画像教材をストリーミング配信する基盤を構築した。近年、W3C によりHTML5 が公開され、これを利用する形でApple 社からHLS 方式が公開され、iOS では標準となった。動画像ストリーミングの定番はAdobe flash とyoutube の組合せから変化してきている。本稿では、先行研究で懸案であった認証方式の問題を解決する。Moodle LMS の認証を利用してHLS 配信を試みる。いくつかのOS とブラウザの組合せにより視聴実験し、結果を記す。

In the previous research, we have developed a foundation for supplying educational material via digital streaming movies by means of HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). Recently, HTML5 drafts became to be public by W3C, and HLS which is based on HTML5 was published by Apple Inc. iOS adopted them as standards. A combination of Adobe Flash and YouTube has long been the de facto standard for streaming: however, a new standard is expected to be adopted soon. This paper addresses the problem of authentication faced by previous research. HLS streaming is attempted using the authentication protocol of Moodle LMS. Visual evaluations are carried out using various combinations of operating systemns and browsers, and the results are presented.
