国際貿易がもたらす恩恵が豊かであることについては多くの経済学者のコンセンサスが得られている。しかし, 貿易の自由化への動きが活発化するなかで, その動きが環境にどのような影響を与え得るのかという問いに対しては, 必ずしも一致した結論が得られていない。過去十年間, この問いは貿易政策における最も重要な議論の一つとなっている。本研究では, 浮遊粒子状物質を対象に貿易の自由化が環境負荷にどのような影響を及ぼすかを検証する。特に, その影響が, 高所得国と低所得国の間でどのように異なるかについても検証した。 There is a consensus among many economists on the wealth of benefits generated by international trade. However, although the push to liberalize trade is active, answers to the question of how this will impact the environment are not necessarily uniform. In the past decade, this question has become one of the most important discussions in trade policy. In this study, with airborne particles as the subject, we verify how liberalization of trade affects the environmental load. In particular, we verify how this impact differs between high-income and low-income countries.
