本稿は, 工業化の視点からドイツ植民地統治期と日本統治期における青島港の貿易構造の比較を試みたものである。ドイツ統治期には山東農畜産物の輸出加工業を基盤とした工業化が展開したが, 日本統治期には綿紡績業を基軸とした輸入代替型工業化が新たに現出した。本稿では, 青島貿易構造の分析を通じて, この2つの工業化に関わる貿易流通が「日本勢力圏」とより広域の東アジア経済・世界経済それぞれにどのような関係性をもっていたのかが明らかにされる。 This study compares the trade structure of the Quingdao Port during the German colonial period with that during the Japan colonial period, from the industrialization perspective. Although industrialization was based on processing of Shandong agricultural and livestock products for the export markets under the German rule period, a new type of import substitution industrialization based on the cotton spinning industry emerged under Japan's rule. Analyzing the Quingdao trade structure, this study clarifies the type of relationship between the trade circulation concerning these two types of industrialization and the so-called "Japanese Sphere of Influence" and the larger regions of the East Asian and world economy.
