The purpose of this paper is to argue about JOC(Japan Olympic Committee)'s second career support plan, and to inquire the subject of career support system from a viewpoint of top athlete's social practical use. Previous researches reported there were several second career support plans for athletes in Japan, but the support plans for the top athletes, especially offered by JOC, are still unclear. We conducted the depth interview research with the person in charge of the JOC second career support plan, and found that it is necessary to educate the coaches the importance of the second career support and that (social-) entrepreneurship and top athletes should be combined in the future research and practice.
