Abstract
In this paper, I would like to describe 'Te-form verb phonological phenomenon' in the Southern Kyushu Dialects, at first. In particular, I show the description of 'Type-W1-dialects' and the discovery of 'Type-TA##-dialects.' I also describe Minamiosumi-cho dialect which is theoretically located between 'True Te-form Phenomenon Dialects' and 'Whole Te-form Phenomenon Dialects.' I can regard this dialect as the middle stage on 'Change to Non-Te-form-Phenomenon' which is one of the expression of 'Breakdown of Dialect System.' By this theoretical description, I can predict an overall picture of 'Change to Non-Te-form-Phenomenon.' There is an autonomous world in Te-form verb phonological phenomenon, in which 'Formation of Dialect System' and 'Breakdown of Dialect System' are co-occurred.
