This study focused attention on children's cultural assets and facility training during Childcare Practical Training I. Based on free descriptive answers concerning" psychological " and " behavioral " changes before and after conducting activities using children's cultural assets, the influence (beneficial effects) of introducing such activities into practical training at challenged support facilities was assessed from the aspect of user understanding. Analysis using KH Coder revealed that the relative frequency of" words expressing user figures " and" words expressing proactive engagement with users (including methods of development) " related to psychological changes , as well as" words expressing proactive engagement with users (including methods of development)" related to behavioral changes, was significantly higher for the challenged support facility group than the child welfare facility group. When these results were analyzed using a co-recurrence network, the expressions" a viewpoint that users should receive individual care,""scene setting," and "working on" were detected as keywords. Based on these points, it may be argued that conducting activities using children's cultural assets at challenged support facilities had the following influences (beneficial effects) on childcare trainees. (1) They could see the features of users through the activities, resulting in alteration of their impressions about them, and (2) after conducting activities , they could work with the users while considering their condition and other factors.
