抄録

The purpose of this study was to analyze the winning techniques in a beginner's sumo wrestling game.All matches of sixth grader's tournament were recorded with the video camera,and the winning technique in all matches was analyzed. The target matches are a total of 76 tournament matches from the first game to the final with 77 participants. In the rate of an appearance of the winning technique in all matches analysis,the most winning technique was 22.4% of Yoritaoshi (frontal crush out,in this technique the opponent is driven backwards and literally collapses under the force of the attack.The attacker here too must maintain some grip on his opponent's loincloth). Second winning technique was 19.7% of Yorikiri (frontal force out,the two combatants will have come to grips and the attacker will drive his opponent backwards and out of the ring,maintaining a grip on that opponent's loincloth at all times).And the third winning technique was 17.1% of Oshidashi(frontal push out,the attacker pushes his opponent out of the ring without gripping the loincloth).
