Abstract

Kyushu University has an honors program named 21st century program. Students of the program are permitted that they can choose academic courses freely. In this paper we consider their learning behavior. First, we give an overview of their learning behavior based on four-years school records of the students who entered university from 2009 to 2011. Next, we show in detail their course selection from fundamental-natural-science courses, because it indicates a characteristic result, that is exponential growth of credits. We discuss the result based on a student data who entered from 2009 to 2013. Finally, we present student attendance and participation state to Combined Tutorial by which we consider a problem for grasping student's learning and growth nature those are difficult to extract from school records.
