継承的アーカイブの活用と「次世代の平和教育」の展開 －広島「平和教育プログラム」の実践－

本研究は，2009年度から推進している戦争遺跡に関する研究 1 ，2012年度から推進している戦争体験「語り」の継承に関する研究 2 の継続研究であり，特に継承的アーカイブを活用した「次世代の平和教育」の構築に関する研究 3 の一端を発表するものである．戦後70年の歳月が経ち，戦争体験を語れる終戦時の年齢を仮に10歳とすれば，もはやその人口は全人口の 8 ％となった．こうした状況の中，その貴重な「語り」を多様な方法でアーカイブする試みが進められており，またモノの継承として戦争遺跡や遺物のアーカイブも進められている．さらに，学校教育においても，もはや直接的な戦争体験の「語り」ではなく，継承的アーカイブを活用したいわば「次世代の平和教育 4 」と呼ぶべき実践が，刻々と展開されている．本研究では，こうした取り組みの内，2011（平成23）年度から取り組まれている同じ広島の「平和教育プログラム」の実践として，今年度の広島市教育センター研修「平和教育研修（平和教育プログラム実践の充実）」の内，川内小学校の実践を取り上げ，検討していきたい．
