Within the framework of politeness theory by Brown and Levinson (1978,1987), the present study investigated multiple\ factors influencing awareness and behavior under suggestion situations using native Chinese speakers learning Japanese.\ Focusing on pragmatic transfer by native Chinese speakers learning Japanese, the study also investigated native Chinese\ speakers without Japanese learning experience and native Japanese speakers as a baseline for comparison. Using decision\ tree analysis, a hierarchy of the influential relations for the various factors was seen. While culture factors and gender were\ observed as weak factors, it was seen that the degree of embarrassment the speaker had to the addressee and the social\ distance produced robust effects. On the awareness of the situation, Chinese speakers learning Japanese showed a bidirectional\ influencing relationship indicating that both a pragmatic transfer (L to L ) and a reverse transfer (L to L ) occurred; thus,\ differing from both baseline groups. Despite this, both Chinese groups produced comparable results on behavior responses.\ Consequently, this study demonstrates that while awareness is influenced by both languages, behavior is solely dependent on\ the L , causing disagreement of awareness and behavior among Chinese speakers learning Japanese.

本研究は、Brown & Levinson（ 1978,1987 ）のポライトネス理論の枠組で、中国人日本語学習者の助言場面における意識\ と行動に影響する諸要因を検討した。その際、日本語学習経験の無い中国語母語話者と日本語母語話者を統制群として、\ 日本語学習者の語用論的転移に焦点を当てた。その結果、まず諸要因の影響関係には階層性がみられた。助言により相手\ を恥ずかしがらせる程度と社会的距離（親疎関係）は非常に強い要因となった。しかし、社会文化差、L とL 、男女の違\ いの影響は弱かった。また、助言に関する意識では、語用論的転移と逆行転移がみられ、学習者のL （中国語）とL （日\ 本語）の双方向での影響関係がみられた。さらに、学習者の助言に関する意識と実際の助言行動の不一致がみられた。
