本研究の目的は，2008年度から2015年度までの授業評価アンケートを用いながら，琉球大学教育学部理科教育講座が提供する「沖縄こどもの国における校外学習を用いた生活科科目」についての実践報告を行い，今後の生活科に関する科目のあり方について議論することであった。受講生324名は，総じて「小学校教諭を目指す大学生にとって沖縄こどもの国での校外学習を取り入れた生活科の教師教育実践は有意義である」と評価していた。また，自由記述の内容分析からは，沖縄こどもの国での体験(たとえば，ヘビが生きたネズミを捕食する様子の観察)を通して，受講生たちはこれらを直接教材にできるかどうかだけではなく，「教師の学びとしての重要性」や「自然との関わりを児童にどのように学ばせるのか」についても考えを巡らせているようで、あった。今後は，小学校第3学年以上で学ぶ理科の授業とのつながりを意識した授業内容や天候に依存しない授業内容を検討する必要がある。

The purpose of this study was (1) to report the educational practices for undergraduates of teaching "Living Environment Studies" with field trip in Okinawa Zoo & Museum, using the class evaluation from 2008 to 2015, and (2) to discuss the direction of this subject in which we could be heading. This subject was designed and offered by the Department of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Education, University of the Ryukyus. In general，324 undergraduates evaluated the subject that it would be useful for university students with the aim of becoming an elementary school teacher. Content analysis of free-description revealed that the field trip experiences in Okinawa Zoo & Museum (e.g., Observation on the feeding time when snake eat living rat) have offered an opportunity for undergraduates to think not only whether these experiences could become the teaching materials or not, but also the importance of learning for teacher themselves and how to let children learn the interaction with the nature. We have to consider the contents of the class for not depending on the weather condition and the connection between contents of "Living Environment Studies" and "Science" which children learn from the 3rd to the 6th grade in the elementary school.
