抄録

1 生後10ヶ月までの生活環境を異にする乳児の泣鳴を母音分析によつて、研究し、音声発達の環境による差異を見んとした。 / 2 一年未満の乳児の使用母音の種類と頻度の検討によつて、発音学上の前母音、中母音に比べて後母音の使用が少い事が示された。 / 3 後母音の使用は、乳児院の乳児において、家庭児の乳児よりも著しく稀である事が証明され、乳児院の乳児の云語発達が家庭児よりも遅れている事がこの点から想定された。 / 4 泣鳴中の母音使用頻度に於ては男女間の差異は両グループ共に殆ど見られなかつた。 / 5 一日に乳児の泣く頻度は、乳児の音声発達に影響するものでない事が考へられた。

1. By analyzing under-a-year infants' crying into vowels, we studied the difference of the vocal development of without-family-infants and with-family-infants. / 2. At considering the kind and frequency of vowels that under-a-year infants used in crying, it was showed that the phonetic front and middle vowels appeared more frequently than the back vowels. / 3. The back vowels were phonated more rarely at orphants than at with-familyinfants. In this respect, it was supposed that the vocal development of orphants is later than of with-family-infants. / 4. We did not find the significant difference between male infants and female infants in orphants and with-family-infants. / 5. It was suggested that the frequency of infants' crying at a day is indifferent to infants' vocal development.
