Abstract

平成20年6月11日、図書館法の改正が行われ、同法第5条第1項第1号に「大学において文部科学省令で定める図書館に関する科目」を履修したものが司書となる資格を有する者となることが新たに規定された。これは、高度情報化社会において、情報基盤及びその上で提供される情報メディアの大きな環境変容に対応し、「これからの図書館像」を実現する視座からの変更である。本稿では、司書養成教育に焦点をおき、「大学において文部科学省令で定める図書館に関する科目」に準拠しつつ、一部に大学としての独自性を勘案し、その科目展開を考察するものである。

Library Act was amended on 11th June 2008. It was newly provided to the Clause 1 in Section 1 of Article 5, that a graduate who has studied in college the subjects on library in accordance with the ordinance of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The change was done from the viewpoint of realizing "future library" in order to tackle the big change of intelligence infrastructure and the information media derived from it. In this article are discussed the subjects, focusing on librarian training education, based on the subjects on library in accordance with the ordinance of MEXT, and taking identity of each college into consideration.
