1990年代後半以降, 東京や大阪などの日本の大都市では, 人口の都心回帰がみられるようになった。本稿では, 三大都市圏の中心都市である東京23特別区・名古屋市・大阪市に, 札幌市と福岡市を加えた全国5都市(および各都市の中心区)の, 2000年代における人口の地域間移動について, 2000年と2010年の国勢調査による人口移動集計(「5年前の常住地」)の公表データを用いて分析した。……

Since the late 1990s large cities in Japan have experienced a demographic shift from decline to growth in urban core areas (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, etc.). This paper aims at analyzing the population census of the 2000s and at explaining migration to central cities (Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka). The following results were obtained by on analysis of Inter-Regional Migration: a population influx from other neighboring prefectures is significant for the cities of Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, and an excess moving out of the Kanto region has intensified over the past decade. ......
