抄録

The purpose of the present paper is to review some procedures and characteristics of creating the contents of an e-Learning program, which has been adopted for improving the quality of pre-university education for advancement in English language ability for students of the College of Engineering. Some problems and solutions when creating the contents of such an e-Learning program are examined, as overcoming these new challenges will be a topic for consideration in the years to come. It is hoped that through the establishment of a successful e-Learning program, entering students will be able to develop their fundamental understanding and ability in the English language. After spending a considerable amount of time and energy, our team, including some College of Engineering students enrolled at Kanto Gakuin University, has successfully created a textbook and a corresponding DVD. In conclusion, creating the contents for an e-Learning program will help our teaching effectiveness and aid in the future development of e-Learning through content evaluation.
