本研究は，「多言語母語の日本語学習者横断コーパス（I-JAS）」を用いて，中級レベルの日本語学習者（以下，NNSと呼ぶ）と日本語母語話者（以下，NSと呼ぶ）の発話を語彙の観点から比較したものである。同条件で行われた異なるタスクを対象に，NNS群の過小使用語と過剰使用語を抽出し，結果を質的に分析した。調査に用いたタスクは，第3者の視点からのストーリーテリング（以下，STと呼ぶ）2種と，依頼と断りのロールプレイ（以下，RPと呼ぶ）2種である。分析の結果，NS群がジャンルに適した言語産出を行うのに対して，中級レベルのNNS群にはそのような言語産出が見られないことがわかった。また，NNS群とNS群の相違として，次のようなことがわかった。①補助動詞に関して，NNS群の過小使用語は，STでは「ている」「てしまう」「てくる」，RPでは「ていただく」「てしまう」「てもらう」があった。NNS群の過剰使用語には「てくれる」があるが，NS群はこれをまったく使用しない。また，「ていただく」を用いた表現は，NNS群とNS群で使用形式が異なっている。② STの時間関係の表現に関して，NNS群の過剰使用語は「時」「後」である。NS群はジャンルに適した多様な時間表現を用いている。③助詞に関して，NNS群はどのタスクにおいても一貫して「は」を多用するが，NS群は「は」と「が」を使い分け，タスクによって使い分けのルールも異なる傾向がある。

This study used the International Corpus of Japanese as a Second Language (I-JAS) to compare speech produced by intermediate-level non-native speakers (NNS) of Japanese with that of native speakers (NS) of Japanese from the perspective of vocabulary. From the different tasks assigned from this corpus, words that were underused and overused by NNS were extracted, and the results were subjected to qualitative analysis. The tasks used in this survey included two types of storytelling (ST) and two types of role-play (RP) concerning request and refusal. The results of the analysis show that the NS group produced vocabulary that was suited to the genre, whereas the intermediate-level NNS group did not. Moreover, the following differences between the NNS and NS groups were found: (1) With regard to use of auxiliary verbs, the words overused by the NNS group in RP were “te-kureru,” but the NS group never used this word. Additionally, the manner in which “te-itadaku” was used differed between the NNS group and NS group. (2) With regard to time-related expressions in ST, the words overused by the NNS group were “toki” and “ato.” (3) Regarding particles, the NNS group mostly used “wa” in all tasks.
