The purpose of this paper is to clarify what awareness and competences the comprehensive course curriculum of high school raises for students. In order to approach this aim, we conducted several surveys with some cooperative researchers including successive questionnaire surveys for students and frequent interviews with teachers. As a result of comprehensive analysis, we could find out the following three points.  First, the comprehensive course curriculum of high school raises for students not the occupational awareness but the career awareness.  Second, the influence on the formation of students' career awareness varies depending on course subjects and on learning contents.  Third, the method of learning that students summarize their thoughts and present their study contents for themselves is effective for forming students' career awareness
