医学というカテゴリーと異なる原理性に基づくセラピーやケアといった分野は、その原理性の検討を必要としている。ルドルフ・オットーが提唱した「ヌミノーゼ」という概念に着目したい。「特殊な」カテゴリーであり、心情的諸要素を伴って、「魂の底」から生まれるものである。カテゴリー論の立場を守り、「魂の底」の「生の深層の意味秩序」と日常的理性を両立し、包括していく重要な視点である。天理教における「おたすけ」は、その包括的視点を備え、セラピーやケアといった分野に示唆を与えるものとして注目される。矛盾や葛藤が生の深層の意味秩序に照らされて、新たなコスモロジーを伴った物語とそこで生きるための「ひながた」によって日常的理性の新たな地平を拓く。その際、重要なのはほとんど音楽に近い肉声（言語レベル）での語り（節）による心の深層のイメージのはたらきと、日常的時間意識を超えてイメージが動くのを「待つ」ことである。

This paper examines the principles of therapy and care with reference to the concept of the “numinous” proposed by Rudolf Otto. Both principles constitute “distinct” categories and are generated from the “ground of the soul” displaying various emotional elements. The “numinous” provides an important perspective that supports and embraces everyday reason and the “meaningful order of the depths of life” on the “ground of the soul.” At the same time, “salvation” in Tenrikyo deserves attention for the comprehensive perspective of everyday reason it contains and the “meaningful order of the depths of life" on the “ground of the soul” and for providing insights to the examination of principles in the fields of therapy and care. As contradictions and conflicts in daily life are illuminated by the meaningful order of the depths of life, a narrative with a new cosmology is constructed. The new cosmology is enabled by Oyasama's “Divine Model” to open a new horizon to everyday reason. The keys to this are a narrative (tune) in voice (linguistic level) that is almost like music and the operation of images in the depths of the mind that creates the narrative. Here it is required to “wait” for the images to work beyond the ordinary temporal consciousness.
