Abstract

Novice Social Workers with neither enough empirical knowledge nor skills were puzzled by "the deviation from the image originally held" and were unable to stand the "imposition of different values," and they thus felt frustrated with the "lack of good experience." They were trying to resolve the anxiety arising from their immaturity and weak minds by "compromising with the thoughts of different perspectives." and "relying on others." However, if they encountered difficult circumstances again without having the opportunity to compensate for the "lack of experience sharing" or the "lack of the ability to reflect" due to the "absence of someone to consult or who can be a support," they became exhausted mentally and physically, thus causing a vicious circle of "negative self-evaluation."
