Abstract

Key Clinical Message A periodic fever, due to inherited inflammatory disorders, can be misdiagnosed as a common infection, when a possible pathogen is detected from a patient. TLR4 SNPs that are responsible for asymptomatic bacteriuria might disturb the pathophysiology of familial Mediterranean fever without MEFV mutations.
