- The Acception of the Seal Script Calligraphy in Edo Japan : Focusing on the Published Books in Areas of Edo and Osaka

Abstract
Because of the traffic developed in Edo period, the books which has been published in Edo and Osaka were allocated to all parts of the country. The communication between calligraphies and researchers became more and more frequently, and it could also be promoted the spread of calligraphy broad in the commons at the same time. Karayou calligraphy was studied and accepted the calligraphy of Chinese characters constantly, and then there were much information of the characters has been published. This paper would focus on the seal script calligraphy and collect the books which were published in Edo and Osaka, then analyze the reason of these features. At last we could conclude the circumstances of studying the seal script calligraphy in Edo Japan.
