地域農業の課題として、中能登地区では、耕作放棄地の土壌肥沃化を化学肥料に頼ることなく図ることが挙げられる。この課題を解決するためには、地域に対する理解力や専門的な問題解決能力が必要である。しかしながら、学生はこのような機会にふれることは少ない。「ねばーるプロジェクト」では、先ず、納豆菌による化学肥料による土壌中の過剰な硝酸態窒素の低減を検討した。この中で、学生は実社会で必要とされる課題発見能力と問題解決能力の修得の重要性を学修した。1 年間のプロジェクト活動を通し、学生の成長が見られたのでここに報告する。;One of the problems of local agriculture is that the fertilization of soil in abandoned farmland is not relying on chemical fertilizer in Nakanoto area. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to have a comprehension for the region and a problem-solving ability for the local problems. However, students have few opportunities to encounter this situation. In this project, reduction of nitrate nitrogen in soil by Bacillus natto was examined. In addition, students independently learned the importance of problem finding ability and problem-solving skills required in real world. In this report, we report the growth of the students through the project activity of one year.
