[要約] 教育現場において，不登校や発達障がいなどの児童生徒に対して提供される「個に寄り添う支援」は，不足しても過多であっても発達を阻害するおそれがあり，適切な支援こそが強く求められる。本稿では『適正支援 optimumsupport』という概念の導入を提案し，将来の社会参加を目指し，支援の副作用を最小限にしつつ，子どもの「環境と折り合う力」を伸長させるための発達促進的なかかわりについて検討を行った。

[SUMMARY] If the support for the children who have educational difficulties such as no-school attendance or developmental disabilities was too little or too much, there would be a possibility that serious problems which arrest their growth occurs. Therefore appropriate support is strongly needed. 　In this study, a new concept as “optimum support”was introduced, and developmental promoting support that enhance the ability of the children to cooperate with the environment, and that made the side effect of support minimal, and that aiming at a future social involvement was considered. Finally the guidelines for the supporters were provided.
