Abstract
We introduce a real-time vision-based human motion sensing system we have developed, which uses multiple cameras and a PC-cluster. And as an application of the human motion sensing system we also introduce an avatar-based distant communication system called VEIDL (Virtual Environment for Immersive Distributed Learning), which is based on the concept of RHP (Real-time Human Proxy) we have proposed.
