The authThe authors of this report found in the Kyoto Prefectural Survey (2017) that clinical psychologists(CP) were employed as civil servants, and that a certain number of local governments may be assigned Social Workers(SW) due to personnel changes. It has been speculated that being employed by a local government as a clinical psychological and being assigned to another profession that requires different specialties has an impact on the development of professional identity.Based on the above uncertainty of the problem, the present research aimed to further explore the dilemma of clinical psychologists who experienced social work. Furthermore, it seeks to advance the development of professional identity as an elaboration of the process model. At the voluntary symposium of the Japanese Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, we used text data obtained from topic providers to generate a more refined process model in addition to the hypotheses obtained in the Kyoto Prefectural Survey(2017).The findings of this study, positive outcomes were obtained from the experiences of CP and SW when there was a change of professional roles. This findings lead to the creation of two models. First model is about the internal change and real flow by CP’s experiencing SW. Second model is about the development for overcoming the dilemma of CP’s experiencing SW.(214 word)ors of this report found in the Kyoto Prefectural Survey (2017) that clinical psychologists(CP) were employed as civil servants, and that a certain number of local governments may be assigned Social Workers(SW) due to personnel changes.
