抄録

Teikyo Heisei University has been approved as an open-system university. The teaching course has been approved by the department of child studies. Students acquire their teacher's license as special support teachers in kindergarten and elementary school by acquiring units in `special subjects concerning teaching professionals' and `special subjects concerning school subjects'. In April 2013, the `Teaching Training Centerʼ opened at Nakano campus. Some of the issues that arise are how to cooperate with work related to the teacher training course at Ikebukuro and Chiba campuses, how to fulfill the core role of a `Teaching Training Centerʼ and information sharing between campuses. In order to implement the course smoothly, the current task is to carefully examine the content, both internally and externally, of the Teaching Training Center. For that purpose, an overview of the teacher training system from World War II until now will be described along with the present situation and issues of the teacher training course at our university.
