A Proposal of Integrating Personal and Community Support with Learning Environment for Group-based Software Engineering Course

Abstract

With the advancement of information and communication technologies, the needs for software development increase. Along this trend, training of human resources with high expertise is required. Based on the background, we developed a support system for group-based software engineering project course and applied it to an actual university course. From its application, we found it was difficult to ascertain individual activities and activities beyond the group. This paper proposes a support system for group-based software engineering project course that supports individuals and communities in addition to group activities.
